(1) Patients who received MV treatment;
(2) patients aged 18 to 80 years;
(3) Within 24 hours of the beginning of mechanical ventilation;
(4) respiratory center drive function was normal;
(5) family members signed informed consent form and agreed to participate in the study.
(1) Complicated with primary diseases affecting muscle strength, such as spinal cord injury, myasthenia gravis, etc.; (2) the diaphragm could not be detected by ultrasound;
(3) those who were discharged or transferred automatically;
(4) ultrasound showed pleural effusion, pneumothorax, pleural adhesion, etc.;
(5) severe malnutrition, liver and kidney failure.
