Subjects with one or more active trigger points in the upper trapezius muscle
Male and female subjects.
Subjects who have been using smart phones
Pain of at least 30 mm in the VAS scale.
Subjects with decreased lateral flexion of the neck to the opposite side of the active trigger point.
Subjects between the age group of 18 years to 35 years.
Patients with positive jump sign.
Subjects who are willing to participate in the study and willing to take treatment for five successive days.
• Subjects who have had smartphone related injuries in the past one year.
•Subjects suffering from orthopedic, inflammatory, degenerative, neuromuscular condition of the neck and upper extremity.
•History of orthopedic surgery to the neck or upper back.
•Participants who are taking anticoagulants and who are on long term corticosteroid therapy
•Participants with specific causes for neck pain.
•Patients who are undergoing treatment of myofascial pain or trigger points at the time of the study
