Inclusion Criteria

Patients undergoing septoplasty

Symptoms persisting for over 12wks

No response to the clinical treatment with topical steroid/ anti-histaminic associated with nasal decongestant.

Nasal trauma causing septal deviation (chronic)

Exclusion Criteria

Sinonasal tumour

Patient not fit for surgery

Septoplasty done with rhinoplasty or as an entry point to other sites

Septal perforation

Craniofacial congenital anomalies

Acute Nasal trauma/fracture

Adenoid hypertrophy

Patients not willing for surgery

Asthma without clinical

Pregnancy
