All patients with cervical and/or dorsal myelopathy due to various pathologies undergoing spinal surgery willing to participate in the study
Between the ages of 18 years and 90 years
Psychosocially, mentally and physically able to fully comply with this protocol including adhering to completing forms and other study procedures.
Personally signed and dated informed consent document prior to any study-related procedures indicating that the patient has been informed of all pertinent aspects of the study.
Patients with Multiregional spinal stenosis
Patients undergoing lumbar spine surgeries
Patients unwilling to participate in the study
Patients undergoing revision surgery at the same level

Name Time Method During the course of the study, patients are advised MRI in immediate post-operative period and assessed for the adequacy of decompression. Changes in the spinal cord post surgery are noted and compared with pre-operative MRI.Timepoint: Patients will be evaluated using MRI of spine in the immediate post-operative period (within 24 hrs).
