Blood donors eligible for whole blood donation as per criteria laid down by Drug Controller General of India (DCGI)21
Blood donors in the age group of 18-30 years
All male blood donors who are donating blood for the first time
Blood donors with pre-donation hemoglobin levels between 12.5-14 g/dL
Blood donors where blood is collected in triple or quintuple blood bags with integral leukofilter
Oncology patients on radiotherapy or chemotherapy receiving treatment from GMCH and requiring red cell transfusion
