1. Age -18 to 45 years
2.BMI >=18.5 to <= 22.9 kg/ m2 (as per WHO cut off for normal BMI)
3.Both male and female
4.Willingness to consume the test foods
5.no known food allergy or intolerance;
6.no medications known to affect glucose tolerance (excluding oralcontraceptives) â?? stable doses of oral contraceptives, acetylsalicylicacid, thyroxin, vitamins and mineral supplements or drugs to treathypertension or osteoporosis are
1.a known history of diabetes mellitus or the use of anti hyperglycemicdrugs or insulin to treat diabetes and related conditions
2.pregnant or lactating women
3.a major medical or surgical event requiring hospitalization within the preceding 3 months;
4.the presence of disease or drug(s) which influence digestion and absorption of nutrients;
the use of steroids, protease inhibitors or antipsychotics (all of which have major effects on glucose metabolism and body fat(distribution)

Name Time Method Glycemic index (GI)category of food productsTimepoint: Capillary blood glucose will be assessed at -5, 0 (fasting), 15,30, 45,60,90,120 mins post ingestion of test and reference foods. The testing will be done on separate days for test and reference foods.
