In recent days, the potential links between periodontitis and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases have attracted increasing scrutiny. Studies suggests that bacterial growth in oral cavity could spark an overactive immune response in those prone to such conditions, leading to continuous inflammation associated with autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis. There are controversial studies regarding the role of IL-1β in pathogenesis of psoriasis & periodontitis & their association.in accordance with this, the goal of my study will be to evaluate and compare the levels of IL-1β in psoriasis patients with & without chronic periodontitis.

- •Patient dignosed with psoriasis Patitients with chronic periodontitis having psoriasis Patients without chronic periodontitis having psoriasis.
排除标准
- •Smokers suffer from psoriasis.
- •Patients with other systemic diseases & co- morbidities.
- •Patient received treatment for periodontitis in past 6-months.
- •Patients on systemic antibiotic therapy in past 6-months.
