Neonates born in the hospital will be eligible for enrolment if they fulfil the following inclusion criteria
1. Gestation age at birth > 28 weeks and birth weight > 800gms.
2. Neonates who were intubated within 72 hrs of birth.
Neonates with any of the following conditions will be excluded
1.Major congenital malformations.
2. Neonates with pulmonary haemorrhage before enrolment.
3.Neonates with Pneumothorax before enrolment.
4. Neonates who were intubated and ventilated outside NICU for more than 6 hrs.
