Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Critically ill patients with age \>15 years with sepsis and/or septic shock requiring invasive ventilatory support
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.lack of MV support via tracheal intubation
- •2\.new onset of acute coronary syndrome within 1 week
- •3\.prior heart failure
- •4\. diagnosed case of severe valvular disease or history of valvular surgery
- •5\.history of chronic pulmonary hypertension
- •6\.insufficient echocardiographic image
- •7\.patient on palliative care/ withholding of life support
