Inclusion Criteria

1.Subjects have ability to understand and sign a consent form prior to the recruitment on the study.

2.Healthy patients 18-30 years

3.Subjects with mild to moderate gingivitis Marginal Index score >1.75 and Plaque Index >2.4.

4.Minimum 20 teeth should be present in the dentition, no visble sign of untreated caries.

5.Patient diagnosed with mild to moderate type of gingivitis.

6.Generally good health (no sign of periodontitis , no active caries and no soft tissue lesions, patient on any antibiotics therapy)

7.Patientââ?¬•s ability and willingness of subjects follow the study procedures and. attend all scheduled visits and successfully complete the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Subjects taking antibiotics or any other drugs within last 3 months.

2.Pregnant women and lactating women.

3.Medically compromised patients

4.Patients have periodontitis and active caries

5.Patients with a know history of allergic to chemical or any herbal product

6.Smokers and compulsive tobacco chewers
