Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •36 Patients Aged between 18 to 60 years of either sex, belonging to ASA{ American society of Anesthesiologists } physical status(1 and 2) scheduled to undergo percutaneous nephrolithotomy under spinal anaesthesia for a single renal stone of >2cm diameter and requiring single subcostal puncture will be included in this study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients having
- •> Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia such as coagulopathy , infection at the site of lumbar puncture etc.
- •> Excessive intraoperative bleeding.
- •> More than one puncture and requiring supracostal puncture.
- •> BMI >35kgm/2
- •> Chronic drug/analgesic abuse
- •> Refusal to give consent will not included in the study
