Individuals aged 60 years or over (on the baseline of the study); of both genders; literate; and residing in a long-term care institution in the city of Juiz de Fora.
Older people who present a clinical condition that represents a contraindication for physical activity, even if of low impact, such as conditions of major cardiovascular alteration, decompensated glycemic level or severe rheumatology; or older people with a diagnosis of severe dementia that compromises the understanding of assessment tools and group intervention activities.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improve the participants's cognitive performance related to executive functions, attention, memory, praxis and perception assessed through results of neuropsychological assessment tests. Data collected within a maximum period of two months before and after the intervention by a dance program adapted for the older people.<br>From the statistical analysis, accounting and analysis of variance (ANOVA) and also via non- least detectable changes.
