Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age\- and sex\-matched to the patient collective of the EXTINCT study

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Inadequate image quality due to insufficient light transmission of the optical media (cornea, lens, vitreous body) or lack of cooperation
  • •\- Pre\-existing ophthalmological diseases
  • •\- Diabetes mellitus
  • •\- Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • •\- Lack of capacity to consent
  • •\- Previous apheresis therapy
  • •\- Additional oxygen requirement or ventilation during COVID infection
  • •\- Acute infectious diseases
  • •\- Pre\-existing cardiovascular disease (e.g. arterial hypertension, vascular occlusion)
