Inclusion Criteria
1. ASA I ,II
2. PCNL procedures with single puncture and with
nephrostomy tube.
3. Age group 18- 60 yrs
Exclusion Criteria
1.ASA III,IV
2.PCNL with 2 or more nephrostomy punctures
3.Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
4.Patients with uncontrolled hypertension
5. Patients with associated cardiac and/or
hepatic dysfunction
•Patients with coagulation disorders
•Patients with BMI > 30 kg/m2.
•Sepsis
•Excessive bleeding during the procedure
•Surgery > 3 hours
•Delayed recovery or requiring postoperative ventilation
•Unwillingness to give consent
