Inclusion Criteria
American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) I and II, who are scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patientâ??s refusal
2.Allergies to local anesthetic drugs,
3.body mass index (BMI) >35 Kg/m,
4.Significant cardiovascular disease, hepatic dysfunction or renal dysfunction
5.Coagulation abnormalities,
6.Infection in the intended intervention site,
7.history of laparotomy
8.Inability to communicate.
9.Chronic opioid usage

Name Time Method To evaluate the analgesic effect of trans-muscular quadratus block after surgery in the form of visual analogue scale (VAS) score at rest.Timepoint: To evaluate VAS score at 6 hours after intervention

Name Time Method 1.To evaluate the analgesic effect of trans-muscular quadratus block in the form of visual analogue scale (VAS) score at rest and on coughing in 1st 24 hours <br/ ><br>2.To compare the duration of block (The time to first analgesic request) which is defined as the time interval between end of LA injection and patients pain complaint (VAS 3). <br/ ><br>3.To compare total analgesic consumption in 1st 24 hours. <br/ ><br>4.To compare patientâ??s satisfaction <br/ ><br>5.To compare complications if any. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: (VAS) score at rest and on coughing in 1st 24 hours (30 min, 1h, 2h, 4h, 6h, 8h, 12h and 24 h)
