this trial is being conducted to see the effect of small dose of dexamethasone drug if given intravenously before surgery in reducing pain, vomiting and fatigue in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Inclusion Criteria

All the patients admitted and planned for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy presenting in of Department of Surgery.

Patients with both the sex fit for uncomplicated LC

Exclusion Criteria

Acute cholecystitis

Pregnancy

Patient having papillotomy by ERCP within one month

Patients having preoperative nausea & vomiting

Patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency

History of corticosteroid hypersensitivity

Patient receiving corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs

Patients will be excluded if converted from Laparoscopic cholecystectomy to open procedure

Any contraindiction of dexamethasone
