Inclusion Criteria
BMI < 30 kg/m2 falling in American society of Anaesthesiology ( ASA ) grade 1 and 2 undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Exclusion Criteria
Ventilatory settings could not be stabilized within 30 minutes of pneumoperitoneum
Surgery converted to laparotomy
Improper positioning of proseal laryngeal mask airway despite 2 attempts
Duration of surgery > 2 hours
