The effects of general anesthesia induction with sevoflurane on the onset of vecuronium
Not Applicable
Completed
- Conditions
- Patients who require surgery under general anesthesia
- Registration Number
- JPRN-jRCT1091220051
- Lead Sponsor
- Keiichi Nitahara
- Brief Summary
Sevoflurane induction, as compared with propofol, significantly shortened the onset time at the corrugator supercilii muscles from 138±34 s to 107±28 s (p<0.01). Differences in mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate at the nearest measuring point from maximal blockade were similar between the sevoflurane group and propofol group.
