Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Diagnosis of schizophrenia according to ICD\-11\.24
- •2\. Established as Treatment resistant schizophrenia as per Treatment response and resistance
- •in psychosis (TRIPP) working group consensus guidelines3
- •3\. Patients who have not received clozapine in the past.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with co\-morbid substance dependence (except nicotine and caffeine)
- •2\. Patients with history of severe cardiac or renal disorders, or a history of neutropenia,
- •bone\-marrow disorders, paralytic ileus, acute substance\-induced psychosis or
- •intoxication, circulatory collapse or epilepsy.
- •3\. Patients on any depot I/M drug preparation.
- •4\. Patients who have received ECT in past 2 weeks.
- •5\. Patients who are lactating or pregnant.
- •6\. Patient with any neurological disorders.
- •7\. Patients with history of seizure in past.
- •8\. Patients on any immunosuppressant.
