Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) confirmation of hemiplegia arising from stroke, at least 6 months after the stroke incident
- •2\) capable of independently walking a distance of 10 meters without any assistive tools
- •3\) achieving a score of 24 or higher in the Korean Mini\-Mental State Examination
- •4\) having the ability to execute a lunge independently, placing the lower limb of the affected side
- •5\) an ankle joint modified Ashworth scale reading between 1 and 2; and 6\) stable with vital signs
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) having a medical history involving botulinum injections in the lower extremities
- •2\) medications that may affect balance or gait
- •3\) being susceptible to falling, with a Bug Balance Scale (BBS) score of 20 or below
