Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients aged 18\-75 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) I\-III scheduled to undergo surgery of the elbow, forearm, wrist or hand under brachial plexus block (BPB).

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patient refusal to participate
  • 2\. Contraindication to peripheral nerve blocks
  • 3\. Patients with pre\-existing neuropathy
  • 4\. Prior surgery of the infraclavicular fossa
  • 5\. Pregnancy and body mass index more than 30 kg/m2
