Patients presenting with spontaneous pain associated with irreversible pulpitis in mandibular molars with no clinical or radiographic signs or symptoms of acute or chronic apical periodontitis.
Presented with American Society of Anesthesiologists I or II medical history.
Patient provides informed consent.
Patients who can read and understand the pain scoring criteria.
Presence of any systemic disorder or allergy or sensitivity or contraindications to lidocaine.
Presence of periapical radiolucency, swelling, teeth not suitable for restoration, or having serious periodontal disease that rendered the teeth unsuitable for endodontic treatment.
Presence of mental disorders or Pregnant or lactating patients.
Presence of Raynaud disease, cold hypersensitivity, Hemoglobinuria, arrhythmia, angina pectoris, and hypertension.
Presence of trismus.
History of taking analgesics in the previous 12 hours prior topresenting for treatment
