- •1. Patients over the age of 18 years of either gender.
- •2. Patients having moderate to massive stage II parapneumonic pleural effusions.
排除标准
- •1. Patient not giving consent.
- •2. Patients having malignant pleural effusions.
- •3. Patient having pleural effusion with a history of trauma.
- •4. Patients having Hemothorax, frank empyema, hydropneumothorax and pyopneumothorax.
- •5. Bleeding disorder or anticoagulant therapy.
