1.Male patients below the age of 40 years with skeletal maturity.
2.ACL injury diagnosed clinically and radiologically.
3.Informed consent given and willing to participate.
1.Female patients.
2.Skeletally immature patients.
3.Age above 40 years.
4.Concomitant injury to other ligaments.
5.Time since injury is not known or not sure.
6.Injury or past history of knee pain suggestive of possible OA on either side.
7.Injury during non-sports related activities.
8.Inflammatory arthritis including RA, AS, ReA.
9.Systemic inflammatory disorders and gouty arthritis.
10.Autoimmune disorders.
11.Subjects on steroids or other long term anti-inflammatory medication.
12.Crystal arthropathy or diabetes mellitus.
13.Recent or past infection of knee joint or its adjoining area.
14.Ongoing or recent infection which can alter levels of serum CRP including URTI, UTI etc.
15.Any Malignancy.
