Inclusion Criteria

a  prospective comparative randomized double blind controlled study, this randomized controlled clinical study will be carried out in patients in orthopedic operation theatre of sir T hospital ,government medical college , bhavnagar , Gujarat.

Exclusion Criteria

patient refusal, patients with anomalous spine ,patients with contraindication to spinal anesthesia eg coagulopathy , thrombocytopenia , allergy to local anesthetic and those on steroid or serotonin related medications

To compare the effect of intravenous administeration of dexamethasone and combination of dexamethasone with ondansetron on subarachnoid block induced hypotension ( primary outcome) in patients undergoing lower limb orthopedic surgeries <br/ ><br>Timepoint: at 0 min ( baseline just at induction) , 5 min , 10 min, 20 min, 30 min 60 min, 90 min , 120 min , 2.5 hours, 3 hours, 3.5 hours, 4 hours, 4.5 hours , 5 hours , 5.5 hours , 6 hours
