Volunteer patients from the spontaneous demand of the Brazilian Dental Association of Pernambuco section; Classified according to the American Society of Anesthesiology as group 1; Over 21 years old; Indication of bilateral maxillary sinus surgery for subsequent rehabilitation with dental implants; Agreement to participate in the research after reading the informed consent form.
Presence of systemic disease; Use of any medication that may interfere with bone metabolism; Smokers; History of pre- or post-operative sinusitis; Surgical approaches previous to the maxillary sinus; History of bone regeneration surgery or previous implantation in the region; Tooth loss in the posterior maxilla less than 1 year.
