Brief Summary

This study demonstrated the good agreement between truncal deviation obtained from wearable wireless motion sensor and 3D gait analysis in a group of healthy volunteers and good-excellent agreement in patients with Parkinson disease. However, caution is warranted in interpreting gait speed due to a systematic error. Nevertheless, the device showed good test-retest reliability of truncal deviation and gait speed in normal healthy adults and good to excellent in patients with Parkinson disease.
