Inclusion Criteria
1.Adult patient undergoing elective abdominal surgery through upper abdominal surgery.
2. Age group 19-65 years
3. ASA grade I and II
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient refusal
2. Uncooperative patient
3.Patient with uncontrolled pulmonary disorders existing prior to surgical procedure
4.Patient undergoing emergency surgery
5.Patient requiring the dissection of diaphragm as a part of surgical procedure
6.BMI >30
7. ASA grade III and IV
8. Pregnant females
9. Age <19 years or > 65 years
