1.Patients with ICU admission
2.Adult patients (Age > 18 years)
3.Patients who could communicate with medical and paramedical staff in English / Hindi / Marathi languages
1.Patients/relatives who refused consent for participation in study
2.Patients with diagnosed psychiatric disease
3.Patients on antipsychotic medications
4.Patients with severe dementia
5.Any CNS pathology or interventions
6.Discharge or death within 24 hours of ICU admission
7.Blind patient
8.Deaf patient

Name Time Method 1. Risk factors associated with delirium in ICU as Demographic variables like age, sex, APACHE II on admission, anaemia, renal dysfunction, electrolyte disturbances, liver dysfunction, and sepsis. Type and stage of cancer, cancer therapy â??surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy .ICU Interventions â?? Ventilation, mobilization, medications (steroids, vasoactive drugs, sedatives and analgesics with their doses)Timepoint: once after completion of study;2. compare the current study result with previous study to to identify the risk factorsTimepoint: once after end of study
