patients over 18 and under 76.
-patients who recieved an endoscopy within 12 weeks from their first visit.
-patients who report heartburn/regurgitatio symptoms at least one time/week for the past one months
-patients with a GERD-Q score of over 8
-patients who understand the study protocol and can participate during the study period
-patients who agree to participate in the study
-child bearing patients who agree to contraceptives during the study period
-patients who cannot receive an endoscopy
-patients with esophageal strictures, peptic stricutres, esophageal varices, long segment Barrett esophagus, active peptic ulcers, peptic ulcer bleeding, malignancies, eosinophilic esophagitis1
-primary esophageal motility disorders
-patients who received surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract other than simple closure of ulcer perforations or endoscopic reaction of being tumors.
-patients with allergies to antacids, PPIs, P-CABs
-patients receiving medication for psychological disorders
-malignancies within 3 years
-pregnancy or breastfeeding
-past history of psychological disorders within the past 5 years
-expected for hospital admission or surgery
-determined by the investigator to be inappropriate to participate
