Migraine is an episodic neurological disorder that presents as a
throbbing unilateral headache with nausea, phonophobia and photophobia, lasting for
4-72 hours.Migraine is a highly prevalent disorder,affecting 12% of the population, attacking up to 17% of
women and 6% of men yearly.It is the third most prevalent disorder
and seventh specific cause for disability worldwide.This is an open label ,single arm,prospective, interventional study which aims to assess the significance of modalities for selection of homoeopathic similimum using O.E.Boericke’s Repertory in the treatment of migraine.Individualized homoeopathic medicine will be prescribed in centesimal scale after detailed case taking and repertorization with the help of O.E.Boericke’s repertory.MIDAS Score and HIT-6 Score will be calculated every month upto 6 months.The difference between MIDAS score and HIT-6 score before and after treatment will be compared and analyzed.
This study is undertaken to throw light into the significance of
modalities for selection of homoeopathic similimum in treating the cases of migraine using O.E.Boericke’s Repertory.If the results will be positive, a certain group of remedies can be observed which are frequently indicated in cases of Migraine.There will be also improvement of mental health & behavior of the patient, with overall enhancement in the susceptibility & vitality of the patient.

入选标准
- •Patient giving consent to participate.
- •Having migraine for at least 1 year before treatment OR at least 5 prior attacks.
- •Cases which fulfill the international headache society criteria for migraine.
排除标准
- •Patients with other primary headaches(cluster headache, tension headache) 2) Patients with secondary headache(Trauma, Hypertension) 3) Patients unwilling for inclusion in the study and those who are not able to come for follow up.
- •Patients with systemic illness such as malignancy, neurological, cardiovascular and metabolic condition.
- •Lactating and pregnant mother.
- •Persons with cognitive impairment.
