入选标准
- •Hospitalized children presented with fastbreathing (respiratory rate more than 50 breaths/min in children < 12 months of age or >40 breaths/min in children >=12 months of age) and/or chest indrawing and crepitation on chest auscultation.
排除标准
- •1. patients who need mechanical ventilator
- •2. patients with a history of chronic illness such as chronic pulmonary diseases, asthma or congenital heart diseases
- •3. patients who were previously taking zinc supplementation
- •4. known allergy or intolerance to zinc or zinc containing products
