- •children aged 2 â?? 60 months with severe pneumonia [who satisfy the World Health Organization (WHO) case definition of severe pneumonia ie Fever, Cough, Fast breathing (>= 50 / min in 2 mo â?? 12 mo and >= 40 / min in 1 â?? 5 yrs) and chest indrawing , requiring admission
排除标准
- •1) Very severe pneumonia as per WHO case definition
- •2)Severe acute malnutrition
- •3)Child with Tuberculosis (of any system)
- •4)Known case of congenital heart disease
- •5)Present episode associated with allergic diseases or asthma
- •6)History of intake of Zinc in past three months
- •7)With an associated clinical diagnosis of diarrhea
