• Inpatient admission or visit at the clinical outpatient department of the University Hospital Augsburg
• Capable of giving consent
• Sufficient fluency to understand the implications of participating in the study
• Admission diagnosis/suspected diagnosis (stroke, myocardial infarction, systemic inflammatory disease, other serious somatic diseases (e.g., cancer, long-covid))
• Lack of capacity to give consent (e.g. dementia, language difficulties)
• Age < 18 years
• No interest in participating in the study
