1) Male inpatient in the age group of 20 to 50 years, diagnosed with alcohol use disorder according to DSM-5 and admitted for detoxification treatment as Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara De-addiction and Research center, Ujire.
2) Patient with an AUDIT score above 8.
1) They are on any prior disulfiram therapy or deaddiction program.
2) They are taking any other medication or on hormonal therapy.
3) If they have any known physical or psychiatric illnesses or any chronic disorder such as diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, epilepsy, cerebrovascular accident, and seizures.
4) Less than 8 points in an AUDIT.
