入选标准
- •Children between ages 2 months to 5 years of age
- •Admitted to JIPMER pediatrics ward
- •With cough or respiratory difficulty with respiratory rate of 50 or more for 2 months to 1 year and 40 or more for 1-5 years children and >30 after that age with either a documented fever or chest in drawing.
- •OR a diagnosis of pneumonia based on chest examination by physician
- •OR a diagnosis of pneumonia based on chest radiograph
排除标准
- •Cases of tuberculosis (pulmonary), bronchial asthma
- •Treatment with Vit D during last 1 month
- •Congenital malformations of lungs
- •Known Immunodeficiency, HIV infection
- •Cases of urolithiasis or nephrolithiasis or nephrocalcinosis
- •Cases of chronic liver disease
