Inclusion Criteria
All children between 0 and 6 years, which get in the St. Elisabeth-Hospital an adenoidectomy alone or in combination with a paracentesis with or without insertion of a tympanostomy tube.
Exclusion Criteria
Native language not German.
In-Patient stay more than one night.
Children with grave multi-handicap or syndromal primary disease.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Average number of single doses of analgesics until the third postoperative day.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Parental sociodemographic background and attitudes about analgesics.<br>Data about the children's pain intensity, return to normal fluids intake and daily activities.<br>Resting time in the recovery room.<br>Number of administered analgesics on the general ward and at home.<br>Pain scores with KUSS and Faces-Rev. when compiled at hospital.<br>Side effects and nausea/vomiting.
