Undergoing elective surgeries under planned general anaesthesia

American society of anesthesiologists physical status I/II

Exclusion Criteria

Requiring rapid sequence intubation

Allergy to any of the study drug

Pregnant/lactating mothers

Chronic opioid/antidepressant/clonidine/anticonvulsant/gabapentin/beta blocker/pregabalin therapy

impaired renal functions
