American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I and II patients undergoing surgeries under general anesthesia requiring nasotracheal intubation
1.Known significant cardio-vascular, respiratory, nervous system dysfunction,
2.Patients with cervical instability,
3.Severe derangements of coagulation profile/ bleeding disorders,
4.Recurrent epistaxis,
5.Uncontrolled hypertension,
6.Known difficult airway,
7.Rapid sequence induction is required,
8.If attending anesthesiologists consider use of the videolaryngoscope to be contraindicated,
9.Upper respiratory tract infection within the previous 2 weeks,
10.Patientâ??s refusal to consent
