The effects of respiratory muscle training on neural respiratory drive and cardiac autonomic function in patients submitted to open-heart surgeryPostoperative pulmonary dysfunction and impaired cardiac vagal modulation are reported after cardiac surgery whereas respiratory muscle training (RMT) has also been proved as a complementary technique to improve respiratory muscle and cardiac autonomic properties. However, the efficacy of RMT technique has not been investigated in patients who had undergone open-heart surgery.Respiratory muscle training, Neural respiratory drive, Cardiac autonomic function, Heart rate variability, Open-heart surgeryTCTR20220127003Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University24
