Inclusion Criteria

1. Body mass index (BMI): 18-35 kg.m-2

2. Patients having American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Grade I-II

3. Patients scheduled to undergo laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Exclusion Criteria

1. Cardiac conduction abnormalities and congestive heart failure

2. Renal or hepatic impairment

3. Neurological disorders

4. Pregnant and lactating women

5. Patients not able to understand VAS

6. History of substance abuse

7. Contraindications to study drugs: lignocaine, ketorolac, magnesium

8. Chronic pain conditions, neurodegenerative or autoimmune disorders
