1.Fresh extraction sockets of maxillary teeth in the esthetic zone (experimental group) and healed extraction sites in esthetic zone of maxilla (control group- atleast 6 months elapsed after tooth loss)
2.Age ( >18 years)
3.Sufficient alveolar bone height and width
4.Patient willing to and fully capable of complying with the study protocol
1.Patients with systemic co-morbidities (uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunocompromised patient, psychological problems, radiotherapy to head and neck region within past 24 months etc.)
2.Severe periodontal problem
3.Chronic alcoholism, smoking
4.When bone or soft tissue regeneration is needed to enhance implant stability or esthetics
5.Soft and hard tissue defect that could impair the esthetic outcome of the treated site
6.Patient under medications which are likely to affect the treatment outcome
