Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Fresh extraction sockets of maxillary teeth in the esthetic zone (experimental group) and healed extraction sites in esthetic zone of maxilla (control group\- atleast 6 months elapsed after tooth loss)
  • •2\.Age ( \>18 years)
  • •3\.Sufficient alveolar bone height and width
  • •4\.Patient willing to and fully capable of complying with the study protocol

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with systemic co\-morbidities (uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunocompromised patient, psychological problems, radiotherapy to head and neck region within past 24 months etc.)
  • •2\.Severe periodontal problem
  • •3\.Chronic alcoholism, smoking
  • •4\.When bone or soft tissue regeneration is needed to enhance implant stability or esthetics
  • •5\.Soft and hard tissue defect that could impair the esthetic outcome of the treated site
  • •6\.Patient under medications which are likely to affect the treatment outcome
