1.Systemically healthy patients (ASA I /II).
2.Patients who required endodontic treatment in lower teeth.
3.Vital teeth with no history of root canal therapy.
4.Patients who had tooth with clinical diagnosis of irreversible pulpitis.
5.Volunteers who suffered from moderate or severe pain.
6.Volunteers who signed a human subject committee approved consent form.
1.Pregnant or lactating patients.
2.Patients who had taken analgesic or anti-inflammatory drugs within last 8hrs.
3.No volunteer under 18 years of age.
4.Any endocrine or infections disease or had any systemic disease that contraindicate endodontic therapy.
5.Active site of pathosis in the area of injection.
6.Moderate to advanced periodontal disease.
7.Non vital teeth (necrosis).
8.Any known sensitivity or other adverse reactions to any of the medication or materials used in the study.
