diagnosis of osteoarthritis; older than 20 years of age
Exclusion Criteria
presence of any other chronic disease; total or partial prosthesis in one or both knees or hips; presence of heart disease; uncontrolled hypertension; rheumatoid arthritis; fibromyalgia; neurological diseases affecting mobility

Name Time Method Significant reduction of pain, joint stiffness, disability and discomfort, without difference between groups<br>Instruments employed: Western Ontario and MacMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (Bellamy et al 1988) and Lequesne Algofunctional Index, (Marx et al 2006) ;Geotherapy combined with kinesiotherapy was more efficient than kinesiotherapy alone in reducing pain, joint stiffness, physical disability and discomfort of patients with knee osteoarthritis
