Women complaining of abdominal distension, aged 18 years or over, diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Exclusion Criteria

Acute organic or obstructive gastrointestinal disease, inability to assume the four support position, morbid obesity, psychiatric disorders, alcoholism, psychoactive drug use

Primary Outcome Measures

Abdominal Distension Feeling is the most important primary outcome and will be assessed through the subjective range of abdominal distension ranging from zero to six, with no feeling of discomfort being zero and six the maximum sensation of discomfort with abdominal distension;Discomfort with Eructations, which will be evaluated through the Visual Analogue Scale, zero being the total absence of discomfort and ten the most extreme discomfort perceived;Discomfort with flatus, which will be evaluated through the Visual Analogue Scale, being zero the total absence of discomfort and ten the most extreme discomfort perceived

Diaphragm Mobility, which will be collected by ultrasound, expressed in millimeters by the average of three values collected from each patient and then the mean of the group will be expressed with the averages of each patient;Satisfaction of the participant with the treatment, which will be evaluated through the Visual Analogue Scale, zero being the total absence of satisfaction and ten the extreme presence of satisfaction that can be perceived;Frequency of urinary incontinence, which will be collected through the answer of question six of the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire - ICIQ-SF Short Form
