Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients of age 18years and above.
- •2\.Patients of all gender.
- •3\.Patients diagnosed with melasma clinically with MASI score indicating severity.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients who are pregnant, active smokers, on hormonal therapy, consumption of antioxidant supplements.
- •2\.Patients with vitiligo, psoriasis, facial melanosis excluding melasma, other causes of skin pigmentation like acanthosis nigricans, sun tan, hair dye etc
- •3\.Patients with endocrine and chronic systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus, heart failure, systemic lupus, etc.
- •4\.Patients on drugs affecting antioxidant levels like hydroxychloroquine,immunosuppresive drugs
