Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Diagnosis of Mania, according to International Classification of Diseases\-10 Diagnostic
- •Criteria for Research (ICD\-10\)
- •2\. Patients aged between 18\-59 years.
- •3\. Patients giving written informed consent.
- •4\. Right handed, Normo\-tensive patient.
- •5\. Moderate to severe illness :Baseline YMRS Score \> 26
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Neurological disorders with history of epilepsy, organic brain damage or any
- •neurological procedures.
- •2\. Subjects with pacemakers or other metal parts in the body.
- •3\. Subjects who have received ECT in past 6 months.
- •4\. Any co morbid psychosis or substance use disorders except nicotine and caffeine (as
- •per ICD\-10 DCR)
- •5\. Significant unstable medical condition like uncontrolled hypertension, complicated
- •diabetes mellitus or any organ failure.
