Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Elderly patients ( Age \> 65 years)
- •2\.ASA grade II \& III ( American society of Anesthesiologists grading)
- •3\. Presenting with Chronic SDH for burr hole evacuation
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.GCS ( Glasgow Coma Scale Score) \<15
- •2\.Repeat surgery
- •3\.Patients with weakness of dominant upper limb.
- •4\.Patients who do not understand Malayalam or English
- •5\.ASA Grade IV and above
- •6\.h/o TIA or stroke
- •7\.Parkinsonâ??s disease
- •8\.h/o cognitive decline for \>3 months
- •9\.Patient refusal
- •10\.Failure to undergo the screening test ( Mini Mental State Evaluation (MMSE \<20\) and Clinical Dementia Rating â??CDR \>3\)
