Inclusion Criteria

1.Patients undergoing uneventful cataract surgery employing phacoemulsification technique of lens extraction above 40 years.

2.Patients with clear transparent cornea allowing optical keratometry.

3.Patients giving informed consent for the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients with irregular astigmatism

2.Patients with post keratoplasty

3.Patients with ocular trauma

4.Patient with keratoconus, corneal dystrophy and degeneration

5.Patients with collagen disorders and inflammatory ocular diseases

6.Patients with lens induced glaucoma

7.Patients with previous intra ocular surgery

8.Patients with corneal scarring

9.Patients with complicated cataract
