Borderline personality disorder group: diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (via SCID-PD), informed consent, at least 18 years old, German language competency; Clinical control group: diagnosis of mental disorder (via SCID-PD/-CV), informed consent, at least 18 years old, German language competency; Healthy control group: informed consent, at least 18 years old, German language competency
Clinical control group: current or lifetime diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (via SCID-PD); Healthy control group: current mental disorder or use of psychiatric/ psychotherapeutic treatment in the past two years

Name Time Method Can the presence of a borderline personality disorder according to the categorical system (SCID-PD diagnosis confirmed by case record documentation) be depicted by using ICD-11 severity ratings (self-report in the Personality Disorder Severity ICD-11 Scale [PDS-ICD-11]; Bach et al., 2021) and ICD-11 personality domain ratings (self-report in the Personality Inventory for ICD-11 [PiCD]; Oltmanns & Widiger, 2018)?<br>Can the personality domains (self-report in the Personality Inventory for ICD-11 [PiCD]; Oltmanns & Widiger, 2018) predict borderline personality disorder psychopathology without using the Borderline Pattern Specifier (self-report in the Borderline Pattern Specifier Inventory [BPS]; Oltmanns & Widiger, 2019) or does it have incremental validity?
